Speech Contest & Debate Contest
on Tuesday 12 March 2019. From 09:30 onwards. 
At Meeting Room, Thearter Zone B, Classroom building MCU Wangnoi. The debaters were argumentative and passionate as they took sides on resolutions such as: men are more significant than women, monks are more important than lay people, modern technology is harmful for students, and it’s better to be single than married. The audience cheered their favorites.

Executives, lecturers, staff and the students of the 1st to 4th year class of both Thai Program and English Program, Bachelor of Arts in English, Faculty of Humanities are invited to join an Orientation on Insight Meditation Retreat Project of the Academic Year 2016 on 13th December, 2016 at the Classrooms Building, Meeting Room, Theater Zone A, Wang Noi Ayutthaya.
The activity for English Program students will be held in the morning at 9 am, and for Thai Program, the activity will be held in the afternoon at 1 pm.

    Curriculum

3.1.1 The number of credits / Curriculum structure

                1)  Plan 1.1 Students have to write only dissertation for 54 credits and study the subjects of which the content are related to the dissertation and have been registered for 18 credits as designated by the Graduate School, Faculty of Humanities and Executive Committee.

2)   Plan 2.1.The students who have completed Master’s Degree that the Graduate School has approved the admission as a special case have to study the subjects not less than 24 credits, the subjects with non-credits for 18 credits and writing dissertation which is equivalent to 36 credits, totaling 60 credits.

3.1.2 The curriculum structure of Doctor of Philosophy in Linguistics

Applicant’s qualifications

1. The applicants who have completed Master of Arts or the equivalent from the University or Institution recognized by the University Council and have the qualification designated by the University.
2. The applicants must have a GPA not less than 3.50 out of 4at Master’s Degree level except those who have a working experience for consecutive 3 years counting from completing Master’s Degree or having an academic work agreed by curriculum committee, and
3. The applicants who have never been previously dismissed by any educational institution.

 Objective of the program

1. To produce the doctor who can understand and acquire linguistic knowledge and can analyze language as well as creating new knowledge on the language.

2. To produce the doctor who can bring linguistic knowledge to apply in studying, working, communication, exchanging art and culture as well as propagating Buddhism as Dhammadhuta monks both at domestic country and abroad.

3. To produce the doctor who will have sustainably the hospitality, generosity, responsibility for oneself and society, including the country.

1. Two copies of House’s Registration / the passport containing personal details.

2. One copy of the Official (Nang Sue Suddhi) Certificate, a character certifycate and an ordination certificate from the Supreme Patriarch of their own country and one letter of recommendation from their teacher.

3. Two copies of the official transcript and certificates of Bachelor and Master’s Degree.

4. One letter of Migration Certificate from Institute or University.

รายละเอียดหลักสูตร

หลักสูตรแบ่งเป็น ๒ แบบ คือ

๑.หลักสูตรแบบ ๑.๑ เป็นแผนการศึกษาที่เน้นการวิจัย

โดยนิสิตจะต้องทำวิทยานิพนธ์ที่ก่อให้เกิดความรู้ใหม่ จำนวน ๕๔ หน่วยกิต

และศึกษาวิชาโดยไม่นับหน่วยกิต จำนวน ๙ รายวิชา

ทั้งนี้ ทางหลักสูตรอาจให้ศึกษารายวิชาหรือทำกิจกรรมทางวิชาการอื่นๆ เพิ่มเติมโดยไม่นับหน่วยกิต

แต่ต้องมีผลสัมฤทธิ์     ตามที่มหาวิทยาลัยกำหนดตามโครงสร้างหลักสูตร

 ๒.หลักสูตรแบบ ๒.๑ เป็นแผนการศึกษาที่เน้นการวิจัย โดยนิสิตจะต้องทำวิทยานิพนธ์

ที่มีคุณภาพสูง และก่อให้เกิดความก้าวหน้าทางวิชาการและวิชาชีพ

ทำวิทยานิพนธ์ไม่น้อยกว่า ๓๖ หน่วยกิต

และศึกษารายวิชาเพิ่มเติม ไม่น้อยกว่า ๒๔ หน่วยกิต โดยทั้งนี้ทางหลักสูตร อาจให้ศึกษารายวิชาหรือ

ทำกิจกรรมทางวิชาการอื่นๆ เพิ่มเติมโดยไม่นับหน่วยกิต แต่ต้องมีผลสัมฤทธิ์ตามที่มหาวิทยาลัยกำหนด

วัตถุประสงค์ของหลักสูตร

๑.  เพื่อผลิตดุษฎีบัณฑิตให้มีความรู้ความเข้าใจภาษาศาสตร์ และสามารถวิเคราะห์ภาษาและสร้างองค์ความรู้ใหม่ ๆ ด้านภาษาได้

๒. เพื่อผลิตดุษฎีบัณฑิตให้มีความสามารถในการนำความรู้ทางภาษาศาสตร์ไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการสื่อสาร  และเผยแผ่พระพุทธศาสนา

ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

๓. พื่อผลิตดุษฎีบัณฑิตให้มีศรัทธา อุทิศตนเพื่อพระพุทธศาสนาการศึกษา  และการบริการสังคม

คุณสมบัติของผู้สมัคร

๑.  ผู้สมัครต้องสำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโท

หรือเทียบเท่าจากมหาวิทยาลัย หรือ

สถาบันการศึกษาที่สภามหาวิทยาลัยรับรอง

และต้องมีคุณสมบัติอื่นตามที่มหาวิทยาลัยกำหนด

๒.  ผู้สมัครต้องได้รับค่าระดับเฉลี่ยสะสมในระดับปริญญาโท

ไม่ต่ำกว่า ๓.๕๐ จากระบบ ๔ แต้ม

ยกเว้นผู้มีประสบการณ์ทำงานติดต่อกันเป็นเวลาไม่น้อยกว่า ๒ ปี

นับแต่สำเร็จการศึกษาในระดับปริญญาโท

เวลา ๙.๐๐ น. สมเด็จพระมหารัชมังคลาจารย์  ผู้ปฏิบัติหน้าที่สมเด็จพระสังฆราช เดินทางถึงอาคาร มวก. ๔๘ พรรษา และนำจุดธูปเทียนบูชาพระรัตนตรัย
เวลา ๙. ๑๐ น. พระพรมบัณฑิต, ศ. ดร. อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย ประธานกรรมการดำเนินการจัดประชุมชาวพุทธนานาชาติ กล่าวถวายรายงาน สรุปได้ว่า ในการประชุมครั้งนี้มีผู้นำชาวพุทธ ประมุขสงฆ์ นักปราชญ์ และชาวพุทธนานาชาติ จาก  ๘๕ ประเทศ ประมาณ ๒,๐๐๐ รูป/คนเข้าร่วมงาน วันวิสาขบูชาเป็นวันสำคัญสากลของโลกโดยที่ประชุมสมัชชาสหประชาชาติ ได้ประกาศรับรองเมื่อวันที่ ๑๓ ธันวาคม ๒๕๔๒  ในการจัดงานวิสาขโลกในครั้งที่ ๑๓ นี้ได้กำหนดจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ ๒๒-๒๓พฤษภาคม พ.ศ.๒๕๕๙  ณ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย และที่ศูนย์ประชุมสหประชาชาติ กรุงเทพฯ โดยได้กำหนดหัวข้อการประชุมเรื่อง “พุทธวิถีสู่สันติภาพโลก” ในครั้งนี้ สมเด็จพระบรมโอรสาธิราชฯ สยามมกุฎราชกุมาร ทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯให้พลเอก อาชวินทร์ เศวตเศรนี ผู้แทนพระองค์เป็นประธานเปิดการประชุม
เวลา ๙. ๓๐ น. สมเด็จพระมหารัชมังคลาจารย์  ผู้ปฏิบัติหน้าที่สมเด็จพระสังฆราช กล่าวสัมโมทนียกถา สรุปความได้ว่าข้าพเจ้ารู้สึกยินดีและเป็นเกียรติอย่างยิ่งที่ประเทศไทยได้ รับเกียรติและฉันทามติให้เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการประชุมวิสาขบูชานานาชาติ ครั้งที่ ๑๓ ที่ประเทศไทย ซึ่งมีชาวพุทธจาก ๘๕ ประเทศทั่วโลก ประมาณ ๒,๐๐๐ รูป/คน เข้าร่วมประชุมที่มหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัยในครั้งนี้  โดยมีหัวข้อในการสัมมนาคือ “พุทธวิถีสู่สันติภาพโลก” วันนี้เป็นวันที่สำคัญทางพระพุทธศาสนา คือวันที่พระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าทรงประสูติ ตรัสรู้ และปรินิพพาน จึงขอเชิญชวนชาวพุทธน้อมนำหลักธรรมด้านความสามัคคีมาประพฤติปฏิบัติ เพื่อให้พี่น้องชาวพุทธทั่วโลกผ่านวิกฤตการณ์ทั้งหลายไปได้ และวิถีแห่งพระพุทธศาสนานี้จะทำให้ชีวิตและสังคมบังเกิดความดีงาม สันติสุข และอิสรภาพอย่างแท้จริง

๙.๔๐ น. สมเด็จพระมหารัชมังคลาจารย์  ผู้ปฏิบัติหน้าที่สมเด็จพระสังฆราช เดินทักทายผู้นำชาวพุทธนานาชาติ โดยพระพรมบัณฑิตอธิการบดี อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย คอยแนะนำ พร้อมกันนี้ ตัวแทนผู้นำชาวพุทธนานาชาติได้ถวายของที่ระลึกให้แก่สมเด็จพระมหารัชมังคลา จารย์
๙.๔๕ น. สมเด็จพระมหารัชมังคลาจารย์  ผู้ปฏิบัติหน้าที่สมเด็จพระสังฆราชเดินทางกลับ
